Helios - our largest solar park in Wallonia.

The Helios solar park is the largest in Wallonia, far surpassing our previous project Sodever in Braine l'Alleud, with a capacity of 60 MW, consisting of 90.000 panels and 9 central inverters. This installation will save 14,000 tons of CO2 per year.

At the electrical level, we have connected 70 kilovolts to the plant, which is a first for Perpetum. And the large 43 megawatt transformer with the 22, 000 volt distribution cabinet are really impressive and quite unique installations in a photovoltaic project in Belgium.

In terms of technology, we made a borehole 830 meters long, at a depth of 20 meters below the plant, through the rock. to connect the photovoltaic park to the plant.

This project is totally in line with PerPetum Energy’s mission: to help industrial companies and large consumers to reduce the carbon footprint of their consumption as much as possible
